- Architect backend services and integrate machine learning capabilities into production
- Translate ambiguous product goals into scalable technical solutions
- Operate as a hands-on engineer while influencing technical direction
- Provide guidance and oversight to a distributed engineering team
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience with a modern server-side stack
- Strong proficiency in at least one additional language used in data or AI systems
- Experience deploying LLMs or machine learning models into production environments
- Familiarity with AI-driven workflows, agent-based systems, or automation pipelines
- Experience working within cloud infrastructure environments
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage settings with minimal structure
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving ability
- Experience leading or managing 5+ engineers
