Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the technical direction of a Kubernetes-based government platform product. This role focuses on platform architecture, Helm-based deployments, DevSecOps practices, and secure software delivery at scale. You will partner closely with government product leadership and support compliance, audits, and mission onboarding.

• Architect and evolve a Kubernetes-based platform environment
• Design and maintain Helm charts for platform services
• Guide CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, and compliance automation
• Review platform changes for security, reliability, and ATO impact
• Collaborate with engineers, security teams, and mission partners

• Active Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
• Active DoD 8570 IAT or IAM certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
• 10 years of systems or software engineering experience with 5+ years of AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, IAM, security) specific experience
• 5+ years designing and operating Kubernetes platforms in AWS, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, configuration, and reliability.
• 5+ years of Helm-based Kubernetes orchestration experience, developing and maintaining Helm charts for platform services and applications.
• 5+ years implementing DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, container security, vulnerability scanning, and continuous compliance.
• Background supporting systems under RMF/ATO, including audits and compliance activities.
