Senior Backend Engineer

• Design and implement robust backend systems using Python and Django to support scalable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance of distributed systems.
• Own the architecture and scaling challenges of large-scale applications deployed on GCP.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs to enhance data retrieval and efficiency.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure management and deployment automation.
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Drive initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes in performance and system reliability.

• 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a strong focus on Python and Django.
• Proven track record of scaling large distributed systems in a production environment.
• Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms, showcasing a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure, scalable systems with measurable commercial impact.

Preferred

• Familiarity with GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform to enhance system capabilities.
• Experience in fast-growing B2B enterprise SaaS companies, particularly within the cybersecurity or infrastructure sectors.

The base salary for this role ranges from $175K to $220K, complemented by a competitive equity package.
