Senior DevOps Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work in IPP (Infrastructure, Planning and Process). IPP is a core software infrastructure organization within NVIDIA. This group works with various other groups within NVIDIA Software such as Graphics Processors, Mobile Processors, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Driverless Cars to cater to their infrastructure needs. These cloud services provide almost half a million automated jobs per day on thousands of servers helping with the productivity of thousands of NVIDIA's software engineers worldwide.

The cloud hosts a heterogeneous mix of machines and devices with various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Android), a multitude of hardware platforms both NVIDIA GPUs and Tegra Processors. What you'll be doing:

• Architecting, implementing, and supporting end-to-end CI/CD system using open-source and NVIDIA proprietary software.
• Create resilient, scalable, and efficient Build and deployment pipelines.
• Design and implement complex automation platforms to identify & resolve operational inefficiencies.
• Triaging software, hardware and infrastructure issues and maintaining high availability for our infrastructure & services.
• Deploying & Monitoring critical high performance, large scale services running on Geo-distributed systems.
• Continuously Strive for efficient utilization & management of the infrastructure.
• Driving automation to monitor and gain more insight into applications and system health.
• Work with architects and engineers across the teams to review the designs & solutions during development and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with our other engineering teams to deliver reliable, robust, and high-performance capability of the underlying infra.
• Mine & analyse data from multiple sources for identifying scaling & optimization opportunities

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Expert designing, implementing & managing sophisticated software systems supporting DevOps platforms and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerization - Kubernetes, dockers & virtualization.
• Solid automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) & CI/CD tools like Jenkins, etc.
• Experienced in data pipelines setup via Kafka, Filebeat and visualization using tools like Elastic search, Grafana, Kibana, Tableau
• Working Knowledge of Devops monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus and/or similar systems.
• Fluency in using MySQL or equivalent NoSQL databases queries
• Working Experience with Perforce, GIT or any other version control system is necessary.
• Exposure to CSPs like, AWS, Azure, GCP & Managed Services, * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and partners.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and Weekends in the hour of need
• Experience in Building regression detection systems by analyzing real-time production data, emphasizing important metrics.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
• Innovating with industry-standard tools and collaborating with the open source community
• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, mentor others and communicate well.
