Job description
We are supporting a major enterprise transformation initiative for the City of Milwaukee, replacing Oracle PeopleSoft (HRMS/FMIS) with **Workday for HR, Payroll, and Financials We are seeking a hands-on Workday Certified Project Manager who can operate effectively across business teams and implementation vendors.
Remote (Milwaukee, WI-based project) 6-month contract (possible extension) 45-minute MS Teams interview PMP certification required at submission
What You ll Do: Capture and document business processes with City departments Act as liaison between stakeholders and implementation vendor Run structured meetings with clear agendas and deliverables Track risks, issues, and action items Manage high-volume stakeholder communication efficiently
Requirements
Workday Implementation (2+ years) Workday Time Tracking (2+ years) Business process documentation & vendor coordination (3+ years) Meeting facilitation in structured delivery environments (3+ years), Experience in Big 4 / SI Workday practices (Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, Alight, Mercer, Cognizant, Collaborative Solutions)
