Job description

We are seeking a Consulting Field Service Engineer to support healthcare clients in mission critical, highly regulated environments. This role combines hands on technical engineering with client facing consulting. You will work directly with healthcare organizations to design, implement, and maintain reliable IT infrastructure that supports daily clinical and operational needs. This is an opportunity to work with real production systems, build trusted relationships with clients, and take ownership of technology that must work consistently., * Provide hands on engineering support across networking, mobile device management, Windows and macOS systems, Active Directory, identity management, firewalls, and network security

  • Act as a technical consultant to healthcare clients, offering guidance on infrastructure design, best practices, and long term platform decisions
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and disruption to patient care and operations
  • Manage incidents and service requests through a ticketing or service management platform with clear communication and follow through
  • Perform system reviews, audits, and performance checks to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver solutions aligned to healthcare requirements
  • Stay current on evolving technologies, security practices, and healthcare IT standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar engineering or field service role
  • Strong working knowledge of networking, endpoint management, operating systems, identity platforms, and security controls
  • Experience working with ticketing or service management systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues methodically and effectively
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a team
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar are a plus
  • Exposure to healthcare environments, regulatory standards, or compliance requirements is a strong advantage
