Network Engineer

The Network Engineer 3 (NMS Tooling) will support Security Network Services network tooling across the enterprise, covering voice services, configuration management, fault management, performance monitoring, and WiFi tools. This role is responsible for supporting all SNS tooling across the bank, with initial alignment likely within voice services, though reassignment across products is possible. The engineer will work on both engineering and operational activities, including lab validation, upgrades, migrations, vendor engagement, incident management, compliance support, and production issue resolution. This is a hybrid contingent role requiring onsite presence three days per week. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Network Management Systems (NMS) across SNS platforms
• Perform engineering and operational support for assigned network products
• Execute lab work, system upgrades, migrations, and tool enhancements
• Support fault, configuration, and performance management tooling
• Manage vendor interactions and tooling certifications
• Support incident management and production issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and security requirements
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, and operations teams
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex network and tooling challenges

• 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, supporting moderately complex enterprise initiatives.
• 5+ years of Linux experience in enterprise or large-scale environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) tooling.
• Experience supporting network tooling for voice, fault management, performance management, and configurations.
• Ability to support both engineering and operational responsibilities, including lab work, upgrades, migrations, incident management, and vendor support.Plusses:
• Experience working in a large enterprise or financial services organization.
• Exposure to Security Network Services (SNS) tooling.
• Experience with tools such as Ribbon Analytics, Ciena MCP, Dynatrace, or other enterprise NMS platforms.
