Job description
As an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Lead, you will make an impact by leading the onshore application support and functional design efforts for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) Financials, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical finance applications. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Applications Support team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, offshore delivery teams, Oracle Support, and technical development partners to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions aligned with global design standards.
In This Role, You Will:

Provide functional leadership and architectural oversight for Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Purchasing, and iExpense) in a 12.2.13 environment.

Act as the primary point of escalation for complex functional issues, driving root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.

Design and govern functional solutions and automation across Oracle Finance modules in alignment with SDLC and audit controls.

Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore support teams, balancing production support and project-based enhancements.

Partner with business stakeholders to translate finance requirements into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, * 8+ years of Oracle EBS Finance functional experience, including 2-3 years in a lead or architect role.

Deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS Financials - GL, AP, AR, FA, Purchasing, and iExpense.

Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and enhancing AR processes including AutoInvoice, Lockbox, AutoCash, Revenue Recognition, and period close.

Proven experience designing and implementing automation using Oracle Workflow, AME, concurrent programs, interfaces, and APIs.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials configuration including Multi-Org, SLA, eBusiness Tax, and security design with audit compliance considerations.

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Exposure to Avalara e-Invoicing and tax integrations.

Oracle EBS or Fusion certifications.

Experience supporting financial close cycles (MEC, QEC, YEC) in regulated environments.

Strong documentation skills for SOPs and governed SDLC processes.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $100,890 - $138,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
