Technical Responsibilities

Device Staging & Configuration Lead the preparation and initial configuration of wireless access points, confirming all hardware is staged and deployed in accordance with defined technical requirements.

Wireless Validation & Analysis Perform post-installation wireless surveys and produce coverage documentation using professional tools such as Ekahau or Hamina to confirm signal strength and coverage consistency.

Advanced Troubleshooting Act as the primary escalation point for complex wireless, connectivity, or infrastructure issues encountered during deployment.

Field Leadership & Project Support

Team Coordination Provide day-to-day direction to Network Field Technicians, assigning work locations and priorities to maintain schedule adherence within approved change windows.

Asset Tracking & Documentation Maintain accurate records of deployed hardware, including serial numbers, MAC addresses, and assigned access point details.

IT Asset Management Alignment Ensure all newly installed devices are properly documented and updated within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system.

Closeout Reporting Deliver final technical documentation, wireless validation results, and deployment summaries at the conclusion of the contract period.

Requirements

Network Background Minimum 5 years of experience supporting network infrastructure initiatives, with a focus on wireless deployments and hardware refresh projects.
