Data Center Technician - Hardware & Infrastructure Support About the Role We're looking for hands-on, technically curious Data Center Technicians to join our fast-growing infrastructure team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of keeping critical systems up and running-troubleshooting hardware issues, repairing servers, and supporting the technology that powers modern data centers. What You'll Do + Provide technical support to end users and internal teams across a variety of hardware and infrastructure issues + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server and computer hardware problems (break/fix) + Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems + Perform hands-on repairs and component replacements (CPU, RAM, DIMMs, NICs, hard drives, storage) + Track, document, and update issues to

Core Skills + Hardware repair & break/fix + Computer and server troubleshooting + CPU, DIMM, NIC, RAM, storage, and hard drive replacement + RAID fundamentals + General hardware diagnostics What We're Looking For + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to stay calm and effective in fast-paced, high-priority situations + Solid foundational understanding of computer hardware and basic networking + Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team + Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively Physical & Work Requirements + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Comfortable working in tight spaces, raised floors, or elevated locations + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required + Some travel may be required Preferred Qualifications + Experience with Linux operating systems + Advanced hardware troubleshooting and repair skills + Prior experience in data centers, IT support, or technical operations Experience Level + Early career (1-3 years experience) of computer repair experience + Associate's degree in a related field preferred but not required Why You'll Love This Role + Hands-on experience with real production hardware + Exposure to data center operations and enterprise infrastructure + Opportunity to grow technical skills and advance your IT career + Work in an environment where what you do actually matters Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, Chantilly, Ashburn, or Manassas Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $24.00/hr.
