Systems Engineer / Platform Engineer/ Windows Engineer

• Key skills; System/Platform Engineering, Storage Technologies, Clustered File Systems, Shell/Python
• Perform application mapping to identify dependencies across platforms, storage, and operating systems
• Manage and support OS-level storage across:
• VMware ESXi
• Windows
• Unix / Linux environments
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage technologies and objects
• Work with clustered file systems and shared storage including:
• NAS
• NFS
• SMB mounts
• Ensure storage performance, capacity planning, and availability for business-critical applications
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
• Shell scripting
• Python
• Generate operational reports, dashboards, and tracking documents using:
• Client Sheets
• Microsoft Excel
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to support platform stability and audits
• Document architecture, mappings, procedures, and operational runbooks

• Strong experience in platform-specific roles with application mapping
• Hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi, Windows, Unix, and Linux storage
• Solid understanding of enterprise storage technologies and objects
• Experience with clustered and shared file systems (NAS, NFS, SMB)
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python for automation
• Strong data handling and reporting skills using Excel and Client Sheets
• Ability to work in complex, regulated enterprise environments
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise platforms and regulated environments
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Pay Range: $60 - $70 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
