Network Security Engineer

• Understand the customer environment, requirements, and security roadmap to implement the appropriate security solution
• Design, implementation, operations, troubleshooting, and resolution across multiple network domains
• Optimize the overall network security infrastructure with Palo Alto equipment
• Test and validate the network security environment
• Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and enhancements
• Work extensively with Palo Alto Prisma Access, Firewalls, and global protect
• Facilitate the development of new application and threat signatures
• Interact with our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to understand and diagnose support cases

• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with Palo Alto Panorama 9.x and above
• Experience with Palo Alto Global Protect
• Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall Threat Protection, URL filtering
• Experience with decryption / TLS / Security Profiles / PKE and Deep understanding of PCAPS
• Bachelors degree in IT related field
• TS/SCI Security Clearance

• Salary: $110,000-130,000 Depending on experience
• Location: Mclean, VA
