Job description
Under general supervision, this role supports the Authority's Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and web-based consultant timekeeping platform (Santrack). The IT Specialist II position is responsible for system support, training, configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization across construction program management systems used by both public and private sector clients., * Provide Tier 2 support for construction PMIS and related systems
- Troubleshoot system issues and escalate as needed
- Resolve data, workflow, and reporting errors
- Assist with project setup and user access provisioning
- Ensure consultant and contractor compliance with required agreements before system access
- Training & Documentation:
- Deliver on-site and remote training for users across public and private sectors
- Conduct training for PMIS applications, timekeeping systems, and digital signature tools
- Participate in configuration meetings to define training requirements
- Develop user guides tailored by role and system module
- Maintain and update training materials and documentation
- PMIS Administration & Configuration:
- Manage user security, roles, and system access
- Test system modules, workflows, and reports
- Support data validation and quality assurance across PMIS platforms
- Troubleshoot system processes and reporting issues
- Create mock reports for review and refinement
- Support integration of contractual and project data into PMIS
- Timekeeping System Support:
- Administer user accounts and permissions
- Support batch processing and basic scripting functions
- Configure SAP BOE updates and reporting tools
- Support Adobe Acrobat Sign (EchoSign) automated workflows
- Manage project phase code updates and timekeeping data entry
- Provide remote desktop support for users
- System Enhancements & Optimization:
- Support installation and configuration of complex software systems
- Identify opportunities for PMIS user interface improvements (HTML/UI enhancements)
- Implement usability improvements such as tooltips and simplified navigation
- Analyze and improve PA/TA workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system usability and efficiency
Requirements
A detail-oriented, technically skilled IT Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced construction program environment and is comfortable balancing system administration, user support, and process improvement responsibilities., * Associate's degree or equivalent education with 2+ years of directly related experience
- Experience supporting construction PMIS systems (e.g., Unifier, Procore, Prolog, PMWeb preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with software integration, troubleshooting, and error resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and within team environments
Special Requirements:
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening and TSA background check for airport badging
- Valid Class C driver's license required
