The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4, SG-25, within Dedicated Support - ABO/DOS, the Information Technology Specialist 2 - Hourly will work as a web application developer specializing in .Net technologies. ITS 2 - Hourly will use their development skillsets to help modernize several legacy processes and applications as we move legacy applications off of EOL servers and databases without any downtime for the crucial DOS systems.Specific duties shall include, but are not limited to: - Lead developer on our legacy app modernization efforts. Converting PLSQL to .Net.- Provide support on all current and future .Net related applications.- Crystal Reports modernization effort. Moving Crystal Reports off of EOL servers and into the applications.- Provide SQL Server development support including writing complex queries, stored procedures, etc.- Review and respond to IT Service Management (ITSM) system incident and request tickets within designated assignment group.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science.ORA bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field and one year of experience in information technology.OR60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology.ORTwo years of professional experience in information technology.
