Job description
To troubleshoot the Student Management System for staff and students, ensuring the appropriate security settings are in place. This role is crucial for maintaining the system's smooth and secure operation., 1. Learn and understand data and reporting requirements as determined by local, state or federal needs.
- Primary Contact for all SIS Inquiries. File incoming help requests from end users via telephone, email and work orders.
- Supervise Student Information data for accuracy. (AtRisk, Gifted and Talented, Title I, Special Education, BIL/LEP, Discipline, Career and Technology, Leaver, Economic Disadvantaged, Attendance)
- Schedule and perform audits of enrollment reconciliations and attendance
- Build new staff accounts as well as maintain security permissions
- Maintain multiple tables in SIS including, address, staff, family, schedules, calendars
- Maintain all templates within student management system
- Prepare student data for promotion based on physical address and transfer approval
- Provide support to campuses for failure reports, missing grades, and eligibility reports
- Perform training for all district employees, including, but not limited to administrators, teachers and support staff
- Build rapport with users to understand problems, develop processes, procedures and structures to solve problems and instruct users on how to find solutions
Requirements
Minimum Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, business, data analysis, mathematics, education or a related field preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing
Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry and file maintenance skills
Working knowledge of database query logic and relational databases
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Student Management System preferably Skyward
Work Conditions:
