Job description
Seeking a senior Workday Analyst with deep Performance Management and Core HCM expertise to lead functional delivery for mid-cycle promotion and performance management enhancements. This role requires someone who can gather complex business requirements, guide Workday configuration and customization decisions, and drive testing and UAT to successful deployment. You'll work directly with stakeholders and help guide the team toward effective solutions., Partner with HR leaders and CLIENT stakeholders to understand mid-cycle promotion and performance management workflow needs

Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for promotion workflow enhancements and performance process improvements

Translate business needs into functional designs and Workday configuration/customization guidance

Lead requirements review sessions and design walkthroughs with business teams and developers

Support and guide solution design decisions, including Workday Extend customization options and workflow automation approaches

Develop test plans, coordinate testing activities, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT)

Document solution designs, configuration decisions, and training materials

Advise on performance management and promotion workflow best practices and process optimization opportunities
Requirements
5+ years of Workday Performance Management and Core HCM analyst experience

Demonstrated expertise in performance review processes, promotion workflows, and mid-cycle advancement procedures

Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering skills

Ability to write clear, detailed functional requirements and design documents

Experience guiding configuration decisions and supporting Workday Extend-enabled delivery activities

Knowledge of approval workflows, compensation processes, and HR data governance

Strong communication and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Workday Performance Management certification

Experience with workflow automation and custom approvals in Workday

Business process design and optimization experience

Experience leading UAT and end-user training

Prior experience supporting mid-cycle or promotion workflows in regulated environments
