Job description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join a growing team in St. Cloud, MN. This hands-on IT support role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth daily operations. You'll work closely with end users, providing prompt and courteous technical assistance while helping maintain a stable IT environment., 1. Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical support both in-person and remotely
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Support and maintain Windows operating environments and Microsoft Exchange
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users and internal team members
- Keep work areas organized and maintain a neat, professional appearance
- Occasionally travel for short-term, on-site technical support needs
Requirements
- 1-3 years of IT support experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows, Exchange, and TCP/IP networks
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to support executive-level users with professionalism and discretion
- Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, in-person position in a professional office environment
- Regular use of computers and frequent user interaction throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs for equipment setup and maintenance
- Occasional after-hours support or light travel as needed
