Job Description We are partnering with a global medical technology company to hire a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and mature enterprise IT capabilities during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This is a high-impact executive role for a pragmatic, business-first technology leader who can balance operational excellence, regulatory rigor, and enterprise enablement-while helping define what "scale-ready IT" looks like in a growing, regulated environment. THE ROLE Lead the global IT organization, overseeing core operations, enterprise systems, and long-term technology strategy Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, aligning IT priorities to business objectives Stabilize, scale, and mature foundational IT capabilities while maintaining reliability, security, and compliance Provide senior oversight of ERP operations and early-stage ERP transformation Strengthen enterprise architecture, integration, data, and reporting capabilities Act as a clear translator between technology and the business, enabling sound executive decision-making SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead a global IT team with ~15-20 direct reports, including teams based internationally - Own executive-level vendor relationships and governance for critical platforms and partners - Manage IT budgets, investment prioritization, and cost optimization Oversight across: - ERP operations and transformation - Infrastructure and data centers - Enterprise applications and CRM - Business systems, BI, and project management - Information security (partnering closely with a dedicated cybersecurity leader) This role is fully remote with travel responsibilities. Skills and Requirements - 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility - Proven success building and maturing IT capabilities in regulated environments (medical device, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or similar) - Strong ERP leadership experience; SAP and enterprise-scale transformations strongly preferred - Deep understanding of enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and vendor management - Experience leading globally distributed teams and complex partner ecosystems - Pragmatic, hands-on executive with strong technical credibility - Business-first mindset with the ability to balance near-term delivery and long-term scalability - Confident, visible leader comfortable engaging at the executive and board levels - Strong people leader with a track record of building capable, accountable teams
