Job Title: Solution Architect / Program Manager Job Description The Solution Architect for Mission Critical Controls/Data Center is responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing mission-critical systems that support real-time BMS/EPMS monitoring, control, and analytics. This role bridges business needs, operational requirements, and technical architecture to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and performance of data center mission-critical control environments. Qualified candidates must have experience supporting data center projects. Responsibilities + Design end-to-end solution architectures for mission-critical control systems, including data gathering, processing, visualization, and BMS/EPMS control platforms. + Define architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices for mission-critical data center solutions. + Ensure solutions meet requirements for availability, resilience, latency, and scalability. + Integrate infrastructure, applications, systems, and monitoring tools into a unified mission control environment. + Collaborate with clients, customers, consulting engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless interoperability. + Work closely with business leaders, operations teams, and engineers to translate operational needs into technical solutions. + Lead design reviews and architecture discussions to create a client functional design specification. + Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. + Embed monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities into solutions. + Support implementation teams during deployment, testing, and go-live phases. + Validate that delivered solutions align with approved architecture designs. + Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues. + Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to mission control and data center operations. + Recommend improvements to performance, automation, observability, and cost efficiency. + Contribute to long-term technology
Requirements
roadmaps. + Perform systems integration across BMS, EPMS, and possess knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Essential Skills + Experience with monitoring, control systems, or real-time data platforms. + Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect, Solutions Executive, or similar role. + Knowledge of mission-critical environments using PLCs, SCADA, Rockwell, and Ignition software. + EPMS software knowledge. + Proven experience being customer-facing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical communication skills. + Knowledge in building automation systems and controls. Work Environment This role offers a remote work environment with travel to customer sites required approximately 30-50% of the time. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.
