Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with Marketing Cloud experience to help scale our technology platforms and advisor engagement capabilities. This role will focus on building Salesforce-based workflows, advisor-facing functionality, and automated engagement journeys using Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with our engineering team, data platform, and product leadership to build scalable advisor experiences., Salesforce Platform Development

• Design and build Salesforce platform functionality using Apex, Lightning, and Flow
• Develop scalable workflows supporting advisor insights and client opportunities
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and AWS services
• Participate in platform architecture and technical design discussions
• Ensure code quality through testing and adherence to SDLC standards

Marketing Cloud Development

• Design and implement automated advisor engagement journeys
• Build triggered communications tied to platform insights and client milestones
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce platform data and events
• Develop segmentation and campaign automation capabilities

Platform Integration

• Work with data engineers to surface insights generated from the data platform
• Integrate Salesforce with external APIs and partner systems
• Support new carrier integrations and advisor data flows

• 5+ years Salesforce development experience
• Strong Apex and Lightning development skills
• Experience with Salesforce Flow and automation frameworks
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external APIs
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices

Preferred Experience

• Experience in web development
• Experience with AWS-based integrations
• Experience in financial services or fintech
• Experience supporting high-growth SaaS platforms
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification

In the first 12 months you will help:

• Scale the advisor experience on Barnum's platform
• Automate advisor engagement journeys
• Support integrations with major insurance partners
• Improve platform performance and development velocity
