Job description
You will be responsible for maintaining the company's networks, computer hardware, peripherals and software solutions to ensure the efficient and secure processing of member transactions.
What You'll Do
To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon and complex occurrences of each of the following under limited supervision from your manager:
- Analyze data from threat and vulnerability feeds and use the data for applicability to the organization. Configure and monitor a variety of security devices and tools, including but not limited to: Anti-Virus endpoint, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, SIEM, DLP, NAC, Spam filter, Web filter, Patch Management, and Vulnerability Management tools, etc.
- Execute policies and audit plans; identify security risks and operation needs. Ensure compliance with all applicable configuration standards. Generate reports on assessment findings and summarizes them to facilitate remediation tasks.
- Recommend improvements to the Information Security Program to the Information Security Manager.
- Support the management of information security, the establishment and implementation of the Information Security Framework and Program in compliance with internal and external regulations, and perform all tasks assigned by the Information Security Manager.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union's policies and procedures and current promotions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required. Associate's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field is highly desirable; industrial certifications preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively with attention to detail.
- Experience in security device management and all related tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management, etc.
- Knowledge of various operating systems including but not limited to: Windows, Linux, and UNIX; Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).
- Strong IT Network background, knowledge of Information Security and Cyber Heist are highly desired.

Salary Range: $26.32 - $38.98/hour
