Job description
Provides Program Management for complex cross-functional programs within the Research and Development arena. Independently develops CCPM project plans, interfaces with Technology, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality and Reliability, Supply Chain, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as required., Independently builds project plans around existing technology project portfolio.
Takes ownership for overall project schedule; Drives projects to completion on-time and on-budget.
Builds interfaces between organizations to ensure successful hand-offs.
Negotiate project goals and develop mitigation plans.
Manage program review meetings, track action items, and motivate program stakeholders.
Maintain software infrastructure to keep project plans and action items up to date.
Reporting Relationships:
This position will report to Manager, Technology Project Management
Travel:
0-5%, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.

1.Demonstrated project management skills in a technology development environment.
2.Intermediate understanding of Quality and Reliability requirements to bring new products or processes to manufacturing.
3.Intermediate to Advanced negotiation skills to obtain cooperation and commitment to project deliverables.
4.Intermediate to Advanced skills in all aspects of project planning and execution
5.Intermediate proficiency in project management software - MS Project, Concerto an advantage
Certifications or Degrees Required: BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field, required.
Preferred: BS degree Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferred.
MS Degree in Engineering Discipline, preferred., 5 - 7 years' experience in Program Management
5 years' experience in Research and Development environment preferred. Ideally around New Product / Process (development through roll out to high volume manufacturing) and change management of existing technologies and products.
5 - 7 years' experience using MS Project or equivalent project management tools
PMP or PgMP certification, preferred.
3 years TOC/CCPM Program Management experience, preferred.
BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field, required.
BS degree Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferred.
MS Degree in Engineering Discipline, preferred.
MBA will be considered but must have technology experience.
