Job description

  • Support the architecture, design, CONOPS, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.
  • Support design and development, evaluation, and technical assessment of radar performance.
  • Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.

Requirements

  • Various years of experience to include:

  • Level 5 (14+ years experience, Subject Matter Expertise Preferred)

  • Level 4 (9-13 years experience, Subject Matter Expertise Preferred)

  • Level 3 (5+ years experience)

  • Level 2 (2-5 years experience)

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.

  • Radar signal-processing, algorithm development, and AESA hardware/beam-forming expertise; extensive MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis.

  • Requirements definition, verification, and system architecture using DOORS/MBSE, SysML, and trade-study techniques.

  • High proficiency in C++, Matlab, Python

  • End-to-end subsystem integration and test-plan creation for radar-system verification.

  • Secret Clearance or higher Required

Benefits & conditions

  • Pay Range: $130,000 - $220,000 (based on years of experience and education)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared Radar Systems Engineer to support one of our federal customers' portfolio of Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) and Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2). These areas focus on advanced defense technologies, including radars, electronic warfare, AI-enabled command, control, and integrated weapon systems. T hese roles are located in either Moorestown, New Jersey or Syracuse, New York.
