Job description
The architect will lead the design of scalable, secure, and well-governed ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and additional ServiceNow modules, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, integration strategies, and release management best practices (including code promotion and update sets).
This position partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and enterprise architecture to ensure ServiceNow solutions integrate effectively with the broader technology ecosystem., Architecture & Design
- Serve as the technical and solution architect for ServiceNow, with deep expertise in platform architecture, integrations, and release management.
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, focusing on how ServiceNow interacts with enterprise systems, rather than isolated application development.
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and patterns across ServiceNow implementations.
- Lead architecture design activities including solution modeling, component identification, and quality reviews.
- Evaluate existing IT and business processes, identify architectural gaps, and recommend improvements.
ServiceNow Platform Leadership
- Provide architectural leadership across ServiceNow capabilities including Core Platform, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, Integrations, Security, and Release Management.
- Ensure best practices for code promotion, update sets, and SDLC alignment across environments.
- Support both inbound and outbound integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Partner with development teams to ensure solutions meet architectural standards while enabling delivery velocity.
Enterprise & Solution Architecture
- Analyze enterprise business drivers and translate them into architectural requirements and solution designs.
- Develop and maintain current-state and future-state architectures and roadmaps for the ServiceNow application portfolio.
- Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities across multiple initiatives.
- Support all architectural disciplines under assigned direction, ensuring alignment to enterprise IT strategy.
- Identify the organizational, financial, and skills impact of architectural decisions.
Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and support architecture governance, ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
- "Sell" the architecture process and its value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the EPMO/PMO to ensure architectural alignment between plans and delivered solutions.
- Facilitate evaluation and selection of software products, standards, and configurations.
- Document all solution architecture designs, decisions, and analysis clearly and thoroughly.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience across multiple IT disciplines (e.g., technical architecture, application development, middleware, integrations, infrastructure, or operations).

Experience working in client/server and/or service-oriented (SOA) environments.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including:

Release process and update set/code promotion, * 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.

3+ years leading or influencing technology initiatives at an enterprise level.

3+ years hands-on experience supporting the ServiceNow platform.

Broad ServiceNow exposure across ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.

Proven solution architecture experience across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains.

Demonstrated success designing and governing large, complex, enterprise-scale solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executives, business leaders, and technical teams.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
