SAP Functional Lead

Client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Lead specializing in FICO and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) to drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices. This role will lead solution design, configuration, and implementation across global finance processes, ensuring scalable and compliant financial operations., 1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead design and implementation of:

• General Ledger (GL)

• Accounts Payable (AP)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Asset Accounting (AA)

Drive Treasury design including:

• Cash & Liquidity Management
• Banking & Payments
• Debt and Investment Management
• Financial Risk Management (FX, interest rate risk)

2. SAP Configuration & Implementation

• Configure and optimize:

• Cash positioning & liquidity forecasting

• Treasury instruments and transactions

• Risk management processes

Ensure alignment with S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal ACDOCA)

3. Integration & Data Management

• Lead integration with:

• MM (Procurement)

• SD (Order-to-Cash)

• External banking systems (via APIs, interfaces, or middleware)

Oversee:

• Financial data migration
• Data validation and reconciliation

4. Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops
• Drive design decisions aligned with global templates
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators

5. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to:

• Global financial standards

• Local statutory requirements

Support financial reporting and audit readiness

• 10 15+ years of SAP FICO experience
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP TRM (mandatory)
• Proven S/4HANA Finance transformation experience
• Experience in multi-country/global rollouts
• Strong leadership in client-facing roles

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Central Finance or Group Reporting
• Exposure to bank integrations (SWIFT, APIs, etc.)
• Knowledge of financial instruments and hedging strategies
