Job description

Serve as a DTS partner supporting designated HCM areas in Workday, such as Core HR, Benefits, Talent Management, Absence, Compensation, Recruitment, People Experience, and Learning.

Provide consultation to HR business partners, demonstrating domain expertise, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis.

Drive the product roadmap including design, configuration and deployment of new projects & system enhancements.

Serve as a subject matter expert of functional business practices and Workday capabilities, both current and upcoming.

Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize system usage.

Configure, test, validate, and implement business process changes, reports, and dashboards.

Support testing of integrations, security, and functionality enabled through release events.

Facilitate configuration review sessions with functional partners, subject matter experts and/or end-users.

Support knowledge transfer and the adoption of new processes and features through the development and maintenance of learning materials.

Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Workday HCM module.

Lead efforts in tracking issues and documenting system configurations.

Analyze technical issues defining the root cause and developing solutions for resolution.

Advise partners and peers of technical standards, security and data privacy standards, and Workday best practices.

Encourage input, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among functional partners, DTS partners, and Workday team members.

Proactively engage in scheduled and ad hoc training to advance policy, process, product, and industry knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
4-6 years' Workday HCM development, configuration, reporting, product support, implementation or related experience and training required
Experience in at least 4 HCM modules such as Core, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent management, Performance, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Security, or Calculated fields required
Prior HR/Payroll functional system and healthcare experience strongly preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong understanding of HR/Payroll functional operations and experience in employee data and system management

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal customers, cross-functional colleagues, technical peers, vendors, and leaders

Ability to accurately define requirements and interdependencies to develop viable solutions

Strong attention to detail and execution of documentation

Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple change requests and project across a variety of Workday applications

Ability to provide strategically aligned direction and coaching to a variety of stakeholders
