Senior Scrum Master

We're looking for a highly motivated, data-driven Scrum Master to join a fast-paced agile delivery environment focused on building impactful data and analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with product, engineering, and data teams to drive delivery, optimize performance, and translate strategy into execution.

This is a hands-on position that blends Agile leadership, technical acumen, and cross-functional coordination. You'll play a key role in enabling teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data products while maintaining alignment with broader business priorities.

What You'll Do

Agile Leadership & Delivery

• Lead 2 cross-functional Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Drive continuous improvement, team accountability, and delivery predictability
• Track and analyze team metrics to improve velocity, quality, and outcomes
• Remove blockers and promote strong Agile best practices

Program & PI Planning

• Own end-to-end Program Increment (PI) planning and execution
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business teams on roadmap alignment and backlog readiness
• Facilitate PI sessions, define objectives, and manage cross-team dependencies
• Track PI progress, risks (ROAM), and delivery commitments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a key liaison across business, product, and technical teams
• Manage dependencies across internal teams and external partners
• Communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly to stakeholders
• Participate in client and partner-facing discussions

End-to-End Delivery

• Guide teams through full delivery lifecycle: discovery ? design ? build ? test ? release ? hypercare
• Drive readiness planning, release coordination, and stabilization efforts

Technical & Infrastructure Support

• Support environment setup, integrations, and platform readiness
• Partner with engineering, SRE, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues
• Promote CI/CD, automation, and observability best practices

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)
• Experience working with BI/data tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation techniques
• Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS (Redshift, SageMaker)
• Strong communication skills across both technical and business audiences
• Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and deadlines
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools

• Financial services or insurance industry experience
• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and secure data practices
• Experience with data modeling concepts (star schema, normalized models, etc.)
