Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst - Mid to support a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This role involves supporting the delivery of comprehensive IT and support services to ensure mission success while adhering to DoD standards and regulations. The Cybersecurity Analyst - Mid will support the cybersecurity posture of DoD information systems, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards and protecting sensitive data. The Cybersecurity Analyst-Mid will develop and implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, manage system accreditations (RMF), and lead continuous monitoring efforts.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with installing and configuring network equipment under supervision.
- Complete basic network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Understand cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices.
- Follow security policies and help implement basic security controls.
- Test systems to ensure they are working properly.
- Document configurations, changes, and technical information clearly.
- Update basic network diagrams and technical documents.
- Work as part of a team with engineers and project staff.
- Ensure compliance with DoD standards and security requirements.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work in confined areas.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or relevant field and 4+ years of related or equivalent experience.
- Current, active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Basic understanding of computer networks (routers, switches, firewalls, servers).
- Strong communication skills to support team members and end users.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Copperhead will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position., * Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or relevant field and 2+ years of related or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and systems, particularly in a hybrid or government cloud environment.
- Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security auditing.
- Advanced security certifications (e.g., CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with configuration management and change management processes in a secure environment.
