Remote AI Engineer (RevReply)

A growing startup in the sales productivity and AI solutions space is seeking an AI Engineer with a strong software development background to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity to build and scale agentic AI systems that support sales and marketing workflows for real-world use cases.

In this role, you will lead the backend and frontend tiers of agentic systems, building sophisticated, production-grade AI solutions that coordinate multiple agents to deliver high-quality outputs. You'll collaborate closely with a small but rapidly growing team and play a key role in driving the company's mission forward as it continues to scale.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer who is comfortable building code platforms from scratch in the AI space. This role is fully remote and best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, offers flexibility in working hours, and is eager to take ownership and grow with the company. The technology stack includes Python and FastAPI, with opportunities to influence architecture and introduce new features as the platform evolves.

5+ years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies: experience developing AI Services using agentic systems utilizing LLMs such as Open AI, Claude, Google Gemini, etc.

Experience in the AI/ML space with a Software Development background with experience creating platforms from scratch; ideally with text and voice AI experience

2+ years of experience working with sales software or products - understanding of sales cycles and writing styles strongly preferred: experience with CRM integrations with Sales tools

5+ years of experience programming with Python working with vector databases and utilizing rag training

3+ years of experience working with AI solutions on Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) using Kubernetes; with Azure you would use this to monitor and log and work on existing agents.

Eagerness to work at a startup with opportunity to grow, take ownership, but has flexibility from a working hours landscape Start up experience

Experience with PHP - understanding of how it works with AI

Experience with Next.Js front end applications

Experiences with third party APIS: Emailbison, Instantly, Smartlead, Plusvibe
