Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to join our team at VigorCare Pediatric Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, with a focus on SQL. The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure efficient and accurate data management., Design, develop, and maintain database systems using SQL
- Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
- Develop and maintain database structures, tables, and views
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure database systems meet business requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database systems
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
- Train and support other team members on database usage and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in database development and management
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with data modeling and database optimization
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
