Job description
As a Senior Manager or Manager of Process Management, you will lead a team of process associates in delivering flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time., * Creating and validating processes
- Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness
- Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes
- Analyzing, identifying, and correcting data issues with systems used or owned by a department
- Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings
- Drive change, innovation, and process improvement across the Test Card team to ensure the program remains agile and aligned with evolving business needs
- Enhance the control environment and strengthen the First Line of Defense (1LoD) by implementing robust oversight and enforcing compliance standards
- Optimize the end-to-end lifecycle management of test cards, including procurement, secure distribution, active monitoring, and reclamation
- Lead the evolution toward a digital test card solution, spearheading the transition from physical assets to innovative, virtual testing environments
- Managing and leading a high performing team of associates
Requirements

This individual will have demonstrated that they can improve company processes in the past, resulting in saving time and resources for the company. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects., * Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Process management
- At least 5 years of experience in Project management
- At least 5 years of experience in People management
- At least 5 years of experience in Relationship management, * Master's Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
- Process Management (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma), Compliance (i.e. CRCM, CIPP, etc.), Business Process Management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (i.e. Project Management Institute Certification)
- At least 10 years of experience in Process management
- At least 10 years of experience in Project management
- At least 10 years of experience in People management
- At least 10 years of experience in Complex problem solving
- At least 10 years of experience in Relationship management
Benefits & conditions
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Riverwoods, IL: $149,000 - $170,000 for Sr Manager, Process Management
Chicago, IL: $149,000 - $170,000 for Sr Manager, Process Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
