Systems Engineer

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise supporting and managing Windows and Linux servers, VMware environments, Citrix technologies, and Microsoft Exchange. This role requires a strong technical background, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable IT infrastructure solutions., + Design, deploy, maintain, and support Windows and Linux server environments.

• Manage and administer VMware infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and upgrading virtual environments.

• Implement, configure, and support Citrix technologies such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and related solutions.

• Oversee Microsoft Exchange environments, handling installation, migration, patching, and troubleshooting.

• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and deployments.

• Maintain accurate system documentation and proactively recommend improvements or enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience.

• Proficient with Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions (such as Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu).

• Demonstrated experience administering VMware vSphere environments.

• Solid understanding of Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops and Citrix ADC.

• In-depth experience managing Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019/Online).

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across operating systems, storage, and virtualization platforms.

• Familiarity with patch management tools, backup and recovery solutions, and security best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware VCP, Citrix CCA/CCP, Linux certifications).

• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or automation scripting for system administration.
