Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team of dedicated technologists supporting a critical federal client. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-driven environment. As part of our agile team, you will contribute to the development of an enterprise-level AI application designed to enhance a large-scale financial data platform., Demonstrate strong technical capabilities, supporting multiple workstreams and incorporating new techniques and solutions. Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to address business needs and improve operational processes. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional AI solutions. Optimize and refine existing AI models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance. Deploy AI solutions into production environments and integrate them with existing systems. Monitor AI system performance and make adjustments to improve outcomes as needed. Provide technical expertise and guidance across AI-related initiatives.
Requirements
Interim Secret clearance required to begin on-site work; ability to maintain a Secret clearance throughout the project. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline. Minimum of 4 years of experience as an AI Specialist, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role. Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, large language models, machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques. Proficiency in Python, R, or Java. Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Knowledge of cloud platforms for AI deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working in complex data environments. Well-developed technical troubleshooting abilities.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google AI Certification). Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning. Understanding of data engineering concepts and data lakehouse architectures. Demonstrated ability and willingness to manage AI projects from concept through deployment., * Artificial Intelligence

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $172,400.00.
