Job description

Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is expanding our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is seeking Software Engineers with experience in graph technologies to join our Professional Services team.

This role focuses on building and supporting data-driven, cloud-native applications leveraging graph databases such as AWS Neptune or Neo4j. You'll work closely with AWS teams and customer stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy solutions that handle complex data relationships in mission-focused environments.

Our team supports a variety of high-impact projects across commercial and federal customers. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with modern data architectures and can contribute across development, cloud integration, and deployment., * Design and develop applications leveraging graph databases (AWS Neptune, Neo4j, or similar)

  • Model complex data relationships and optimize graph queries for performance and scalability
  • Build and integrate APIs and services that interact with graph-based data stores
  • Deploy and manage graph workloads in AWS environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot performance and data-related issues across environments
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, code reviews, and technical discussions

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret clearance or currently in process
  • Experience developing applications using graph databases (AWS Neptune, Neo4j, or similar)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
  • Familiarity with graph query languages (Gremlin, SPARQL, Cypher, or similar)
  • Understanding of data modeling and working with complex datasets
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, * Experience supporting federal or defense customers
  • Familiarity with AWS Neptune in production environments
  • Experience with data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer)
  • Background working across multiple projects or in a consulting environment
