Northrop Grumman (NG) Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst for our Rocket Center, WV location, to serve as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) within a Multi-Facility Organization (MFO) environment. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution and oversight of the Industrial Security Program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), customer requirements, and internal policies.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Site Security Manager and will be charged with providing critical FSO security support as a subject matter expert (SME). This FSO position will also provide daily support efforts to include and not limited to personnel security clearance processing, document control and accountability, physical security support for personnel access as well as alarm maintenance and response. Knowledge of DD254 contractual specification document requirements and details associated with varying statement of works will be critical for program success and management of all administrative actions. Activities will also include program area self-inspections and supporting customer inspections for all program areas. Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) must be generated and actions monitored to ensure completion for any deficiencies noted in program areas. The candidate must effectively interface daily with the other NG sector security professionals, NG program management and other NG engineering and functional staff, as well as government and contractor customers., * Manage personnel security activities, including clearance processing, visit authorizations, indoctrinations, and debriefings
- Conduct and oversee self-inspections, internal assessments, and preparation for DCSA reviews
- Ensure proper handling, safeguarding, transmission, and accountability of classified information and material
- Coordinate required security reporting (e.g., adverse information, security incidents, violations, and suspicious contacts)
- Provide security guidance and training to employees, managers, and program teams
- Interface with DCSA/ISRs, government customers, and internal leadership
- Support implementation of enterprise security initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain accurate security records and documentation in government and company systems
- Receives, creates, reviews and interprets security classification guidance of DD-254 forms
- Support to physical security (including programming badges, keys, cores, locks, combination changes and administration, working with contract security team, access control, video monitoring, intrusion detection and obtaining approval of restricted and classified areas
- Conduct required above ceiling/false floor checks of approved classified areas.
- Work as point of contact for alarms/response and works closely with the Enterprise Security Control Center (ESCC).
- Support Business resiliency and contingency planning for the Crisis Management Team
- Support Insider Threat investigations and hub team efforts
- Support compliance of company and government Security regulations.
- Provides security database updates within the NGC SIMS system.
- Support access to DISS for clearance verification
- Assist the site Industrial Security Team and programs as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
The candidate must have a high degree of problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and should have some degree of knowledge of multi-level security procedures. The candidate must possess the ability to adapt to constantly changing demands and demonstrate the capability to take on new and unfamiliar tasks. Requirement to make some independent decisions, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions to management is essential. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and possess the ability to work with others collaboratively in a professional and high-energy environment. Some travel may be required to support off-site activities and customer requirements., * Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 plus year of relevant experience with a master's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or 365, including, MS Word, MS EXCEL
- Working knowledge of the following standards/documents; 32 CFR part 117, NISPOM
- Experience with government security databases: DISS, NISS
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- This position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance, * Experience with Multi Facility Organization (MFO); experience as FSO supporting multiple CAGE codes
- Experience working with Insider Threat Program
- Prior interaction with DCSA during assessments or security vulnerability reviews
- Knowledge of insider threat, OPSEC, and program protection disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief leadership
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
- Working knowledge of the ICD standards/documents
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting Lenel Access Control issues locally and remotely.
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), NCMS Industrial Security Professional (ISP), or other security certification experience.
- Experience with Physical Security requirements and knowledge of ICD-705.
- CDSE - FSO Program Management for Processing Facilities certificate.
- Experience working at an AA&E facility and inspection process
Benefits & conditions
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
