Job description
Provide system-level software support to internal customers by ensuring the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimal use of applicable multi-user operating systems and associated subsystems.
- Analyze and evaluate current and proposed business procedures to identify data processing needs
- Research and recommend hardware and software tools
- Provide expert guidance to technical personnel and collaborate with networking staff to ensure system compatibility
- Conduct technical feasibility and cost analyses for system upgrades
- Manage software updates, including version upgrades, service packs, and related documentation
- Lead efforts to update and maintain assigned applications and resolve system limitations or issues
- Develop complex reports as required and strategically schedule system downtime to minimize disruptions
- Serve as liaison between internal users and software vendors
- Design and deliver user training for software applications and report development
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and pursue continuous learning through classes and seminars
Requirements
Are you passionate about problem-solving and improving system performance to support healthcare excellence?, * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar technical role with increasing responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Proficient in applicable software applications and functional areas, including system configuration and connectivity
