We are seeking a Network Engineer / Solutions Architect who is deeply passionate about networking and thrives in complex, high-stakes environments. This is an expert, Tier-3 role for an architect who can design, lead, and execute-someone equally comfortable presenting to executives as they are racking switches or troubleshooting low-latency wireless issues in the field. Supporting our rapidly growingcompany, you will architect and deploy highly secure, ultra-reliable LAN and WLAN environments across autonomous vehicle depots and critical infrastructure. You'll own outcomes end-to-end: from design and stakeholder alignment to hands-on implementation and advanced troubleshooting. Your work will directly enable cutting-edge autonomous vehicle operations while reinforcing our mission of "Cybersecurity by Design." What You'll Do Network Architecture & Deployment
- Design, plan, and implement enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
- Lead physical rack-and-stack installations, cabling coordination, and on-site deployments.
- Architect low-latency, high-availability networks supporting mission-critical operations.
Wireless & Performance Excellence
- Perform advanced WiFi design, RF analysis, performance tuning, and packet capture.
- Proactively monitor network health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
- Maintain and harden wireless ecosystems across Ruckus, Aruba, Meraki, Cisco, and Palo Alto platforms.
Security & Incident Leadership
- Lead resolution of the most complex network and security incidents.
- Support threat hunting, vulnerability management, and post-incident analysis.
- Produce detailed technical and executive-level reports and recommendations.
Client & Project Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Own technical delivery, communicate risks and tradeoffs clearly, and manage expectations.
- Provide timely status updates and lead initiatives across multiple concurrent projects.
Team Mentorship & Growth
- Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers through advanced troubleshooting and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies., * True Solutions Architect role with equal weight on design, execution, leadership, and influence.

Work Environment
- Hybrid, remote-centric with on-site deployments
- Bay Area focus (Mountain View and regional travel)
- More hands-on/on-site early on, stabilizing to remote over time
- Fast-paced MSP supporting multiple concurrent initiatives
Requirements
This is a hybrid role with strong remote flexibility, regional Bay Area travel, and occasional U.S. travel for client projects., + 5+ years working with enterprise networking platforms (Palo Alto, Juniper, Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki).
- 3+ years leading network architecture and implementations, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and physical deployments.
- MSP or MSSP experience preferred.
- Networking Mastery:
- Deep hands-on expertise in network design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong wireless experience including RF design, analysis, and optimization.
- Advanced troubleshooting using packet captures and root-cause analysis.
- Client-Facing Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
- Leadership & Adaptability:
- Proven ability to lead deployments, mentor engineers, and own outcomes.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments with shifting priorities.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and off-hours deployments when required., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP.
- Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strategic experience developing long-term network or cybersecurity roadmaps.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
