Associate Network Security Engineer

The Senior Associate, Information Security will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our RBAC program. Contract on W2 Hybrid - 3 days in a week

What You'll Do:

• Focusing on the governance tasks within IAM Operations (Quality Reviews, Audit, Certifications, knowledge base article revisions)
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and other teams to implement and maintain security controls and processes.
• Monitor Qualys for vulnerabilities, open ADO User Stories to remediate said vulnerabilities.
• Communicate SailPoint modification to the IAM Operations Team.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of SailPoint metrics, and initiatives.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the Information Security function(s) within SailPoint. Including: RBAC (Job Roles), user access controls, incident response, security monitoring, compliance, etc.
• Use Excel to assist in role-based access analysis, impact analysis and reporting.
• Work with SailPoint team to expand monitoring capabilities with Policy violations.

What you have: Minimum: Indicate minimum education, skills and experience required.

• Solid understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Proficient in Excel working with large datasets while using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience in assisting with the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess security issues and propose effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must know Microsoft office for complex reporting and/or procedures.

Preferred: Indicate nice to haves regarding education, skills, and experience.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in information security, with demonstrated experience in managing security operations and projects.
• 1-2 years of RBAC/Compliance knowledge, but willing to training the right person
