The Work Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:

Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions

Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution

Conduct system verification and support certification activities

Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters

Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment

Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments

Work a Non-standard shift as needed

Have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing
This position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience

Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems and components
-
Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars

Experience in the integration and test of Solid State Radar systems
-
High proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python
-
Ability to perform data analysis

Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing

Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required Desired Skills:
-
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
-
Radar systems development experience including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
-
Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques
-
Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts, such as evenings, nights and/or weekends as required by the supported program highly desirable
-
Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design implementation
-
Technical leadership experience with program execution
-
Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills

Experience with automated build and system development
-
Experience with managing pipelines across classification boundaries

Ability to deploy new technologies, educate others on their use and integrate them into workflows Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
