Job description

Contribute as a senior hands-on engineer on agile delivery teams, collaborating with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver incremental business value.

Design, build, test, and support secure, scalable, and maintainable end-to-end solutions, including:

Custom software and APIs

Cloud-based AI services (e.g., LLMs, cognitive services, AI Builder)

Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate workflows

Implement AI-enabled and automated solutions aligned to technical direction set by the Principal Engineer.

Write clean, maintainable code using established design patterns and modern engineering practices.

Ensure solution quality through unit testing, test automation, code reviews, CI/CD, and appropriate monitoring.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflows, operational pain points, and user journeys; translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Participate in design discussions, reviews, and demos; clearly communicate technical concepts and trade-offs.

Support and mentor other engineers and citizen developers through knowledge sharing and best-practice guidance.

Continuously learn and apply emerging AI, automation, and cloud technologies to improve delivery and outcomes.

Follow responsible AI principles, governance standards, and security practices in all solutions.

Requirements

5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong experience as a full-stack developer building custom, multi-tier applications using object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Java).

Proven ability to apply design patterns and produce clean, performant, maintainable code.

Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and modern distributed architectures.

Experience delivering AI-enabled or advanced automation solutions, such as integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into applications or workflows.

Experience with low/no-code platforms, preferably Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.

Authorized to work in the applicable nearshore country/location. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Microsoft technology stack (.NET / .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure).

Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Power Platform custom connectors and governance.

Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.

Unit testing, test automation, and CI/CD experience.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Prior experience supporting or enabling business users or citizen developers in a governed environment.
