Salesforce Developer (Job Code: 1004)

Responsible for designing, building, and delivering tailored solutions for businesses using Salesforce and other connected technologies; provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the connected Salesforce platform; support continued build-out of key reports and dashboards, data administration, and integrity upkeep; recommend improvements to optimize and increase use of the platform; provide technical specifications and help maintain overall documentation for the business; adhere to and promote best practices and design the guidelines for security procedures; design, develop, test, document, and deploy Salesforce solutions; participate in code, design and documentation reviews with other team members; collaborate with solution architects, product managers, product owners, business owners and their proxies to define user stories and detailed acceptance criteria; participate in team ceremonies including story and feature demos, program increment (PI) and iteration planning, daily standups and retrospectives; communicate with team members regarding status, impediments and technical issues; work with other developers to design integrations between systems across the enterprise; follow and contribute to technical processes, coding standards, and guidelines; continually evaluate and refractor code base for increased extensibility; document solutions delivered using in-tool and written documentation according to team standards; research new technologies and solutions to improve Salesforce solutions; perform API Integrations for Outbound/Inbound messaging and how data flows outside of Salesforce platform; perform Security functions from a Salesforce platform perspective of SSO; utilize and apply knowledge of Salesforce solutions, Visualforce, Copado, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Apex classes and triggers, AJAX, Force.com toolkits, REST/SOAP APIs, and Flows, Scheduled and Batch Jobs to perform assigned duties; whitelist and certify needs for existing platform as well as new products coming onto the org, including Maps requiring additional firewall settings; facilitate discussions with the team, technology stakeholders and business partner management regarding the Salesforce platform to support business operations; and perform Salesforce deployments using Workbench, AutoRabit, and Copado, ensuring successful migration of metadata across environments and validating that all changes were accurately committed and reflected in the corresponding version control repositories.

Experience must include three (3) years use of all the following: Salesforce solutions, Visualforce, Copado, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Apex classes and triggers, AJAX, Force.com toolkits, REST/SOAP APIs, and Flows, Scheduled and Batch Jobs.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, Education: Bachelors - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Software Developer, as a Sr. Software Engineer, as a Programmer Analyst, or in a related occupation.
