Sr. Systems Administrator (Windows & Linux)

• Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Ability to automate processes such as device hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, system monitoring of Windows and Linux servers.
• Ability to climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
• Apply fixes, patches and upgrades in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoot server issues.
• Administer customer accounts.
• Deploy monitoring tools.
• Deploy applications and tools.
• Assist with escalated customer tickets.

• Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Mid-level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge. Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems.
• VMware architecture administration experience.
• Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
• Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Security+ certification

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• Hardware installation and cabling experience.
• Monitoring tools.
• Network experience (architecture, switch administration, troubleshooting).
• AWS/VMs.
