Job description

  • Develop, integrate, and verify core Aircraft State and Aircraft Systems monitoring applications on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

  • Engage in systems/software requirements development, validation, and verification processes.

  • Utilize model-based system design tools such as Simulink to create and refine system models.

  • Contribute to Arinc 661 graphics development, leveraging tools like Scade when applicable.

  • Work with sensors related to aircraft position and navigation, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS systems, ensuring seamless integration with aircraft systems like flaps, gear, and cabin pressure.

Our client, a leader in the aerospace and avionics industry, is seeking a US - Sr Advanced Software Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a US - Sr Advanced Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative aircraft systems development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., + Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in C++, Avionics or similar systems, Jira, and Bitbucket.

  • Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, and verification.

  • Knowledge of model-based system design, preferably using Simulink.

  • Experience with Arinc 661 graphics development and working with aircraft sensors and systems.
