Job description
The AI Data Engineer builds and maintains data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage systems to support efficient data collection, processing, and analysis. This role ensures data quality and accessibility while partnering closely with data scientists and analysts.
Responsibilities

Partner with senior management, technical teams, and clients to define data requirements and implementation strategies

Write and code logical and physical database descriptions

Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes

Modify existing databases and database management systems

Test programs and databases, resolve errors, and apply necessary updates, * Team Purpose: Improve internal data pipelines to support urgent product needs tied to launch timelines and enable large models to generate training labels for the ranking stack.

Key Projects: Enhance the responsiveness of existing pipelines and integrate new features to support large-model-driven label generation.
Interview Process:

Assessment Timeline: Hard-skills assessments scheduled after shortlisting; first round expected by April 24, 2026

Assessment Format: Two interview rounds with two interviewers, focused on classical coding and data manipulation

Candidate Preparation: Review classical coding concepts and data manipulation techniques prior to assessment
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

2-4 years of relevant experience
-
Experience with database technologies

Strong understanding of ETL processes

Proficiency in at least one scripting language

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Demonstrated success in data-focused roles

Experience with Azure

Experience with Python and/or C#
Top 3 Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Python.

Minimum 2 years of Azure.

Minimum 2 years of Data Engineering fundamentals (SQL, data pipelines, ETL).
Bonus: Experience with search systems is a significant advantage
