Job Summary We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, image management, and platform engineering to support cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and modern engineering tools, along with the ability to improve system reliability and developer productivity. Key Responsibilities Design and implement infrastructure solutions using infrastructure-as-code tools Develop and maintain image management processes and automation Build and manage secure operating system images Integrate infrastructure automation with platform services using RESTful APIs Implement and maintain GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines Define and support Agile processes, including creating EPICs, user stories, and leading ceremonies Develop and execute patching strategies for infrastructure systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform engineering capabilities Monitor system performance and implement observability solutions Support large-scale migrations and hybrid infrastructure environments Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs and runbooks Mentor and guide team members to improve engineering practices Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or related fields 4+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar 3+ years of experience designing and automating image management processes using tools such as Packer 3+ years of experience with GitOps principles and tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions 3+ years of experience building secure operating system images using tools such as Vault 3+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for infrastructure automation 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban 2+ years of experience implementing patching strategies Strong understanding of infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with developer portals such as Backstage and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of immutable infrastructure concepts Experience using AI-assisted development tools Background in platform engineering supporting cloud-native development Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack Experience with enterprise schedulers such as Autosys Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, certificates, and TLS Experience with JVM/OS tuning Experience working with tools such as JIRA for project management Ability to mentor and coach team members Experience with large-scale migrations and hybrid environments Developer-first mindset focused on improving engineering productivity Education: Bachelors Degree
