Job description
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex.
- API Integration: Design, implement, and manage APIs to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other systems.
- Collaborate: Work closely with front-end developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Performance and Security: Ensure our Salesforce applications are performant, scalable, and secure.
- Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues related to Salesforce backend processes.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest Salesforce features and updates.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex programming and strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Data Management: Experience with Salesforce data modeling and management.
- Security: Familiarity with Salesforce security and sharing rules.
- Lifecycle Understanding: A solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II.
- Additional Languages: Experience with other programming languages like Java or JavaScript.
- DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Agile: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range: $85-$95/hr on W2 Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
