Sr. Platform Engineer

A client in the market research industry is looking for a team of Platform Engineers to support a client re-engineering project in the insurance industry. These resources will be supporting a platform migration from VMWare to Kubernetes working alongside Application teams to re-platform a multi-cloud environment with 50+ applications. The day to day will include building and delivering the Kubernetes infrastructure to enable the application layer to migrate. This opportunity is a 12 month contract with likely extensions until work is completed.

7+ years of professional experience in Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong technical expertise installing + configuring Kubernetes in an On-Prem environment o Experience with Rancher or RKE for lifecycle management + cluster provisioning

• Well versed in Infrastructure as Code with prior exposure to Terraform modules + automation

• Experience supporting Kubernetes or VMWare migrations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Insurance industry/domain experience
• Linux SUSE experience
