Job description

This role is designed for a strategic storyteller and data-driven communications leader - someone who can translate complex technology, data, and AI initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and drivereal businessand people outcomes.

The ECBP will be a trusted advisor to senior Tech & Data leaders, responsible not only for executing communications, but for shaping narratives, surfacing proof points, and using insights andmeasurementto continuously sharpen impact. This role sits within the Employee Communications team in Human Resources and works in close partnership with Corporate Communications, Technology & Data leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Strategic Narrative & Storytelling

  • Develop and steward the end-to-end Tech & Data strategic narrative, translating technical and operational priorities into human, outcome-focused stories that connect employee actions to Tech & Data and enterprise strategy.

  • Shape clear, audience-specific storylines for multiple audiences, including Tech & Data employees, all Fitch employees, leaders, managers, and external-facing partners, ensuring relevance and clarity at every level.

  • Act as a translator between technical teams and non-technical audiences, producing jargon-free communications focused on "what changed, why it matters, and what to do next."

Proof-Point & Impact Story Development

  • Build andmaintaina proactive Tech & Data proof-point pipeline,identifying, shaping, and packaging stories that evidence progress against strategicpriorities such as Data & AI, product innovation, modernization, security, and people initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Technology, Data, AI, Security, and Product teams to surface real-world outcomes (adoption, usage, confidence, and behavior change), not just activity updates.

  • Elevate and amplify the strongest proof points enterprise-wide, aligning with campaign moments, leadership communications, and firmwide storytelling opportunities.

Campaign Strategy, Sequencing & Execution

  • Lead strategy and execution for high-impact Tech & Data campaigns and programs, including AI enablement, Modern Workplace adoption, security awareness, change initiatives, and major organizational milestones.

  • Design campaign approaches that reflect audience-centered design, modular content, and intentional sequencing to reduce noise and maximize relevance.

  • Integrate listening-cycle communications (pre-survey engagement, participation drives, "you said, we did" updates) into broader communications plans.

Measurement, Insights & Optimization

  • Own communications outcomes by designing and applying measurement frameworks that go beyond awareness to assess engagement, sentiment, adoption, and behavior change.

  • Analyze data from intranet, Teams, email, events, andemployeelistening to diagnosewhat'sworking,what'snot, and why, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Deliver regular, insight-led impact readouts to senior stakeholders,demonstratinghow communications drive strategic andpeopleoutcomes.

  • Apply a continuous test-and-learn mindset,optimizingchannel mix, narrative framing, and engagement formats over time.

Leader & Manager Activation

  • Equip leaders with high-quality communication packages for priority moments, including narratives, talking points, FAQs, and presentation storylines.

  • Strengthen manager-led communications through toolkits, discussion guides, and monthly cascade systems that enable meaningful two-way dialogue.

  • Help leaders act as visible communicators and culture carriers who reinforce strategy, enable change adoption, and foster connection and trust.

Narrative Alignment & Governance

  • Ensure alignment between internal Tech & Data narratives and external positioning, partnering with Corporate Communications tomaintainconsistency, credibility, and message discipline.

  • Apply clear governance and prioritization principles, ensuring communications investment is focused on the highest-impact "moments that matter."

  • Serve as a strategic advisor, guiding stakeholders on the right approach, timing, and level of support., Dedication to Giving Back: Paid volunteer days and support for community engagement initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success driving employee communications strategy and execution in complex, global, fast-paced organizations.

  • Exceptional storytelling capability, with a proven ability to turn complex technology, data, or transformation topics into compelling, audience-relevant narratives.

  • Strong editorial judgment - able to distinguish what is strategically meaningful versus "nice to know," and shape content accordingly.

  • A data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics, insights, and user research to inform communications decisions.

  • Confidenceoperatingas both a strategic advisor and hands-on storyteller, with gravitas and credibility at senior levels.

  • Expertiseacross a range of communication channels, including written, visual, live, and digital formats.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience supporting technology, data, AI, or digital transformation organizations.

  • Background in regulated or highly matrixed environments.

  • Comfort shaping narratives with both internal and external audiences in mind, even when execution sits elsewhere.

  • Experience using or designing AI-enabled or automated communications workflows.

Benefits & conditions

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $175,000 per year (depending on location). Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
