Job description
- Design and build relational databases.
- Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
- Work in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
- Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
- Define, design, and build dimensional databases.
- Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems.
- Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses.
- Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
Requirements
- Top Secret - IT-I Critical security clearance, Tier 5 investigation.
- At least five (5) years of experience.
- Experience working with modeling tools (e.g., one or more of the following: ER/Win, Power Designer, ERStudio or other similar tools), While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds.
The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- Top Secret - IT-I Critical security clearance, Tier 5 investigation.
