Cloud Data / Database Engineering

The position is focused on building the backend data foundation for a cyber threat dashboarding function. This is not a frontend or visualization role; the emphasis is on database design, data engineering, and architecture., * Design and build databases to support cyber threat dashboarding initiatives

• Collect and integrate data from multiple disparate sources
• Define and implement schema, data models, and database structures
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability for future-state architecture
• Contribute to engineering efforts from project inception

• Strong experience in database design, schema modeling, and data engineering
• Hands-on expertise with SQL Server and data modeling concepts
• Experience working with data warehouses, data storage, and backend data systems
• Ability to design scalable data platforms and handle multi-source data ingestion
• Solid communication skills for collaboration with internal teams

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS
• Experience with data lakes, hybrid architectures, and governance frameworks
• Background or exposure to cybersecurity environments (not mandatory), * Mid-level data/database engineer (not a senior architect)
• Strong backend focus with emphasis on design and architecture
• Ability to work on a new engineering initiative from the ground up, * Cybersecurity experience is a plus but not required
